1. GENERAL RULES AND REGISTRATION

Check-in and check-out: Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 13:00, unless otherwise agreed.
Number of guests: Only the agreed number of guests may stay on the property and inside the buildings.
Cleanliness and order: Guests are expected to treat the house, its contents and the surrounding property with care. When leaving, the house should be left in a generally tidy condition, with dishes washed and rubbish placed in the designated bins.

2. SAFETY AND FIRE SAFETY

Open flames: Fires may be lit ONLY in designated areas (the grill, hot tub stove and fire pit). Never leave a burning fire or grill unattended.
Candles: Candles with an open flame are not permitted indoors or on the terrace.
Smoking: Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is STRICTLY PROHIBITED inside the house and on the terrace. Smoking is only permitted outdoors in the designated area, using the provided ashtrays.

Hot tub:
• Before using the hot tub, please read the instructions and ensure that children are     supervised by an adult at all times.
• Glassware is not permitted in the hot tub.
• Foaming products or oils must not be added to the hot tub water.
• Firewood for heating the hot tub will be prepared and left by the stove. Taking additional     firewood from elsewhere on the property without prior permission is prohibited.

3. POND SAFETY

Swimming in the pond is at the guests’ own risk.
Children may be near or in the pond ONLY under direct adult supervision.
‍Children should use appropriate swimming aids while in the pond, such as life jackets, swimming rings, etc.
‍Diving headfirst or jumping into the pond from undesignated areas is prohibited.
‍Fishing in the pond without prior permission from the owner is prohibited.

4. PEACE AND PETS

Quiet hours: Please respect the neighbours and the surrounding nature. Outdoor noise and music should be kept to a minimum between 24:00 and 07:00.
Pets: Pets are allowed ONLY by prior arrangement. Owners are responsible for their pet’s safety, behaviour and cleanliness while on the property. Please clean up after your pet throughout the grounds.

5. LIABILITY AND DAMAGES

The primary renter is financially responsible for any damage to the house, furnishings, equipment, dishes or property caused by them or their guests.
Please report any damage or technical issues to the hosts immediately.
The hosts are not responsible for guests’ personal belongings left unattended.

6. VIDEO SURVEILLANCE ON THE PROPERTY

Purpose of surveillance: Video surveillance is used in the area surrounding the holiday home to help ensure guest safety and protect the buildings and property.
Privacy: Video surveillance is not used inside the house, sauna, bathroom facilities, hot tub relaxation area or other private leisure areas.
Data processing:
• Data controller: The data controller is [SIA STRAUTIŅI RM].
• Retention period: Video recordings are stored for 14 days and then     automatically deleted, unless a recording is required for investigating an     incident or for law enforcement purposes.
• Access: Recordings may only be accessed by the owner or property manager.     The data is not shared with third parties except where required by law, for     example with the State Police.
